Last week, met up with this cousin of mine who I haven seen for a uber long time.
We went to Bugis for shopping and catch up with each other.

Bought a basic maxi dress, a pair of shoes for school, a polka dotted bag for school, cropped top and some belts (:
Happy with all my loots! HEHEHEHE. I lazy to take photo of them. lol. Anyways this will be a short post because I need to start studying for my UT next week!

Last Saturday, went on a date with baby to Jurong Point. It has changed alot!
It's very big now!

We had dinner at Carl's Junior. The portion was reallly biggg and we were both super full after the dinner. Baby even go gei kiang and upsize, lol. -.-

Saw these two really irresponsible girls sitting in front of us, they did not order anything, yet they were occupying two seats all for themselves, and they were talking and laughing so loud some more lor. PFFT.

Then alot of people had to wait for seats because of them. Detest these people to the core leh seriously. Baby said it's prolly because they had a feedback form in front of them that's why the staff didn't chase them away. But how can let them occupy the seats likethat! haiiiis. so inconsiderate!

Anyway, here's what we had (:
The burger was super big okay! Much bigger than Mac's and Burger King's! But I still prefer Burger King's Mushroom Swiss. HEHE ^^

Bought tickets for Phua Chu Kang also (:
Wanted to watch Salt but the seats were almost full, 3rd row from the front. So didn't watch it in the end.

Not bad la the show. Be prepared for a good laugh!

Sorry ah, we came home then we realised that we forgot to take a very important picture - US! :(
How can we forget to take a picture of ourselves?! HAHA. But there are already alot of photos of us already, can just go archives to see? LOL.

Friday was the last lesson for Semester 1! :(
Very few people turned up that day.

FYP Final Assessment

Hello! [:
Today marks the end of FYP for this semester.

Cause, we just had our Final Assessment this morning!
I don't know, we were kind of disappointed after the whole thing ended cause it felt as if we keep getting cut off and we did not have enough time to say all our slides. I think it's partly because we did not have a mock presentation with our advisor that's why the assessors feel that it's too much theory.

But now we know, so we will go straight to the point for next semester! But I think all of us have done our best for this FYP. So, I am contended already lah. Shall not complain so much because as what alot of people say, questions are normal for all the teams (but i still feel that my advisor should have given us a mock presentation then at least it would not be so bad)..

This is our first time presenting for FYP so let the next presentation in Semester 2 be better (i hope i get better assessors)! (:
There's always a learning experience for everything eh?

Anyhoo, after the very moody and annoying FYP assessment, we went out for lunch as a team to reward ourselves for what we have done, hahaha. Went to one of my teammate, Wang Yu's house first cause she wanted to take something.

Now that FYP Assessment is done for this semester, it's time to relax!
Can't wait for holidays, 2 more days of lessons + 1 week of UT3!

Last Friday was the last Problem for Cold Chain Management, and the class planned a small birthday celebration for one of my classmate, Natasha, whose birthday falls on National Day, which is today.

Actually it was another classmate who suggested doing this. Then I msn-ed everyone and asked them to cooperate, which they did (: One teammate 'lured' her out by asking her to go the toilet while we prepared the cake in class.

When she came back, we 'surprised' her. I think with party poppers and all it would be better. haha.

1 year 5 month-sary

HAPPY 1 YEAR 5 MONTH-SARY TO BABY AND I! [:
I love it when every month, baby and i will make it a monthly thing where we go out and celebrate this day (:

Some couples don't even celebrate this day (not pin-pointing at anyone).
So it makes me feel that this relationship is important to us (:

This month, we went to AMKHub. Baby initially wanted to go Downtown East cause there's an IT Fair there, but we didn't due to the time constraint. We met on Saturday after my tuition so it was already quite late..

When we reached there, bought tix for Blood Pledge.

Then went to have our dinner

Went home after that cause I had work the next day :(
Once under my block, I suddenly realised we didn't take photo, so faster pull baby to the bench and take photo! HAHA!

Baby gave me his 32GB iPod Touch which he initially wanted to sell!
Have downloaded so many apps in it that I'm addicted to it! I keep playing with it that baby say I got ipod touch then don't want him liao! HAHA so cute!

The happy times of FYP

Last Wednesday, I has a very different FYP meeting!

We went for a company visit from the morning till afternoon. Went to National Heart Centre.
After that, we wanted to edit our report so that we could submit it to the company that we are working with.

We did not want to go back to school, so we went somewhere else! (:
National Heart Centre was at Outram Park MRT, so we headed to Dhoby Gauht MRT since it was also on the North-East Line (NEL) purple line.

Went to Pizza Hut at Plaza Singapura for lunch!

After that, we thought that Pizza Hut was not a good place to do work, so we found somewhere else, Starbucks!

Perfect! And so, we got started...

A Field Trip to Goat Farm

Goat Farm Visit!
Went for another field trip again for Cold Chain Management. Quite fun! I've been there quite a number of times alr, I think I went there once when I was young, but the memories of it are very vague. Last year, I went there with my family, but we didn't get to see the milking process.

But today, I finally got to see it for myself! (:

When we first went into the dairy farm, the goats were just milked. There was another group before us, so we went to look at the goats first.

The manager said there used to be feeding, but AVA banned it caused of the H1N1

Then it was our turn to watch the milking process! YAY!

Vegetable Farm Visit

Finally here to update a post after so long of being MIA.

School's been really really hectic because I am rushing my FYP report which I need to submit to the company I'm working with. That explains why. Been staying back in school after class till about 6-7pm for the last 2 weeks, tiring! :( Then there's UT next week too, which I have already studied, so I can relax now :D

Went to an Agrotech farm, or Vegetable farm on Friday for Cold Chain module. Quite interesting I think, but it was 'infested' with new friends (insects). But I pressume that they cannot use pesticides too.

Shall elaborate through photos below :D

When we reached, we were given a small briefing about the farm and what they do and all. We were given a worksheet to fill up, so we need these information.
Oh, the guy who was briefing us (in the photo) was very funny and cute. He kept mixing Chinese and English, haha!

1 year 4 month-sary

HAPPY 1 YEAR 4 MONTHS BABY! [:
Woo, it's our monthsary again!

This time, we went to City Square Mall cause we have not been there before. It's quite a nice place eh, but abit ulu. hahaha.

We went there around 6 or 7 plus cause I had tuition on Saturday. So when we reached, we went straight for dinner cause I was hungry. Went to IshiMura for our dinner! :D They have an outlet in Yishun's Northpoint as well, and I thought the food would be not bad. Their variety is almost the same bah.

The food is quite nice la, but then, the waiting time is super duper long la! In Yishun I remembered we didn't wait as long lor! The waiting time was a spoiler cause we are hungry, & 'HUNGRY PEOPLE MEANS ANGRY PEOPLE!'

Anyway, after dinner we walked around awhile, I went to Watsons to get my toner and masks! (: And also to make use of the 2x Points cause it's my birthday month! HEHEHEHE.

WLNA Trip

Last Friday when it rained super heavily and caused many jams on the roads, was the day I went for a 'excursion' with my class for Cold Chain Management module.

The school chartered a bus for us to Warehouse Logistics Net Asia (WLNA) at Jurong. There was a mini briefing first, then we were shown around the place.

We had to wear covered shoes and long pants cause it would be very cold in the cold rooms. And it really was.. We went into 3 cold rooms. One at 18 degrees, one at -18 degrees and the last one at -25 degrees!

Look at the tubs of ice-creams, yoghurts, beef patties, very tempted to take home! HAHAHAHA!

It was damn cold that I was shivering and my fingers turned purple! And my feet were numb because it was wet due to the heavy rain when I was traveling to school.. :(
And when we spoke, there was 'smoke' coming out from our mouths as well! It's like the temperature in winter, and the workers were all wearing thick thick clothing and all of us were only wrapped in normal cotton jackets! =.=

After the tour, we went back to the office for Meeting 2.

Batam Trip Day 2!

HELLO! [:
As promised, Batam Day 2!

So, after turning in at about 3am the previous night, got woken up at 7.3oam for breakfast!
Crazy! So early!

But no choice, cause we had to check out at 10.30am or else we will be charged another day.

Complimentary breakfast for 1 guest per room only. So we needed to pay for 2 people. $10 each. Expensive, but we still paid. Cause long long once mah! HAHA!

The breakfast was normal. Nothing special..

After breakfast, my mum suggested that we take a walk at the beach. So we went there. While walking to the beach, saw a clown at the entrance.

Normally clowns are supposed to entertain children, no? But this clown scares them! LMAO!

Reached the beach. Nothing much to see also.. Except these below..

After that, went back to our room to pack. Then rested and showered awhile, brought our luggage to my dad's room cause he's not checking out till 1-2 months later as mentioned in the previous post. Then we left for shopping @ Nagoya Hill, one of the biggest shopping center in Batam at 10.30am!

But we did not really buy anything except for food. Cause the clothes and all are around the same price in Singapore. Wanted to buy masks, but didn't cause the price aren't cheap also. Watson cheaper!

Dad told the driver to come and fetch us at 12.30pm. So after we were done with shopping, stopped at A&W for root beer float! Cannot find in Singapore!

The driver came at 12 plus. And initially wanted to go for lunch, but we were all still full. So he brought us to this bridge. It's really beautifullllllllllll and windy!

This boy came to pass the bill to my dad for the Bak Kut Teh. He just 'piak' the bill on the table and looked innocently at my dad! Then my dad passed him the money and he bring back to his mother at the stall. So cuteeeeee!

After lunch, went back to my dad's room in the resort. Rested awhile till 3.30pm and caught the free shuttle bus from the resort to the ferry terminal.

HELLO GUYS! [:
I'm back from the 2D1N Trip to Batam over the weekends!

Took alot of photos!

Met baby after work on Saturday at around 12 and he came over to my house while I showered and changed.
Then together with my mum and sister, we took a bus to HarbourFront Cruise Center.

We were very stupid, because once we boarded the ferry, we thought there were only upper deck seats, so we went to sit there, then so many people were smoking! So smelly!

In the end we realized that there was a lower deck with air-con and we didn't need to smell the cigarette smell.. =.=
We weren't that stupid anymore when we returned to Singapore! HAHA!

Batam has a lot of land, but some are empty or some are completed halfway, like the one you see above.
It's like there's empty land, then suddenly there is a big building, then empty land, then building...

My dad showed us around the resort cause he's been staying there for the past one month so he's familiar with the place. He's staying there for another 1-2 months i think, till his project finishes.

While exploring the resort, we saw a Biz Lounge on one of the levels, so we rested there for some tea time. The biscuits/cookies were very nice! My mum brought some back to Singapore! HAHA!

In Batam, there are no public transports, so you'll need either a car or motorcycle to travel around.
Lucky my dad has a driver-cum-tour guide, makes things so much easier!

Unlike Singapore where the food comes consecutively, this comes all at once!

After bowling, went to sing Karaoke for 1 hour!
$30 for 1 hour, regardless how many pax.

They give you one big big room and there's no limit to the number of people. Forgot to take photos of the room. =/

Went with my mum, sis and baby. My dad went back to sleep cause he had work in the morning and was tired.
Really fun there was score at the end! We sang Stayin' Alive and we were screaming and shouting. LOL fun! Sang till around 2am then headed back to our rooms to shower and turned in for the night.

WOOHOO!
I'm finally done with my Mid-Term Assessment!

Although it's not the final one yet, but at least we have a feel of it already!
My whole FYP Team wore formal wear on that day.
And our friends who saw us all asked: "Wa why you all wear until so formal?"

THIS IS YOUR ANSWER.
We chose to wear formal because we feel that we wanted to leave a good impression to our advisor even though we are only presenting to him. Imagine if you are the advisor and you sit for your fyp team's assessment, and they dress like normal, would you even wanna listen to them present? Versus a team who puts it effort to dress up? - This shows that we treat this assessment seriously. Period.

Besides, I realized that when I wear formal wear to present, it gives me confidence as well!
Anyway, shall cut the long story short, we took photos after presenting!

I finally have the time to post an entry on my rusting blog! HAHAH.

Anyway, this is an overdue post cause I just received the photos! During the 2nd week of holidays, had FYP meeting in school and after that went to have steamboat dinner with my team mates (:

Initially I didn't know that they wanted to celebrate my birthday cause it was already over for about a week. But when we reached the interchange, one of my team mate told me he wanted to buy bread cause he was hungry, but he came back with a birthday cake instead. haha.

Anyway, the restaurant was in Yishun and we took quite a long time to find it cause it was very far away from the MRT station. We took about 20 mins walking before reaching, but there was actually a bus that reached directly opposite the place -.-
Nevermind, next time if I'm going again I'll know how to get there.

This year, Baby surprised me with a birthday cake in my house and i didn't know anything about it.
I came home from tuition in the evening and I had no idea about it, so I did my usual things. Then when I stepped into the kitchen, he was standing there, waiting for me (:

Finally I am back for a proper update! (:

Today we went to the lab for lesson. It was a practical session!
And I think that although it was really tiring, it was fun and I think I learnt alot through the process! hehe.

We were supposed to 'palletize' (click to see the definition if you don't know) the empty boxes. And boy, it was so tiring! Now I know why all those people working in warehouse are mostly guys and why our faci demanded all the guys to come for today's lesson!

My class only had 4 pathetic guys =.=
Luckily there were 3 teams today, and 3 guys came (1 was absent), so it was just nice. One team had one guy. HAHAH

Tuesday (11th May) was baby's graduation in RP. I had class on that day, so was unable to attend the ceremony. But I met him after class since I finished class early that day (:

I has a new phone!

Look at the title of the post and i think you can guess what this post is about. HAHA.
Well, if you follow my tweets, I tweeted that my previous phone spoilt because when I make calls, I won't be able to hear what people is saying, but they can hear me.
So it's equals to not having a phone at all :(

And my warranty is only for 1 year so it's already over. If i repair it, i will need to pay (most likely). Changing phone is not an option as well because it's expensive to just pay for the phone without a contract.

So, my lovely baby bought me a new one! (:
It's not branded or anything, but at least I can use it to call people till my plan expires this coming November!

I have something to share with you all again! (:

I found this in the refrigerator after I came back from school.
I think my mum bought it, so I took one to drink since I was feeling thirsty.

I found this in the refrigerator, Pokka Strawberry Milk!
There was Mango too, but i took the strawberry one..

Hehe, it's nice when it's colddd!!
It's not very sweet, which I like. I do not really drink Strawberry flavored milk cause I think they are very sweet, even though they smell very nice.

But this isn't too sweet! And it's refreshing too!
It's also low fat and made from natural products.

I'm not sure if this is a new product, but you guys should try it if you haven't! :D
It's really yummy!

Ahh, I feel like drinking another can now!

HAPPY 1 YEAR 2 MONTHS! (:
Once again, its our month-sary..

I think time passed very slowly this month. Maybe because we are both busy with school and work, and we keep waiting for this day to come, so it feels like it takes a very long time for today to come.
But anyway, it came, and it's today!

Even though baby was really busy with work and I was busy with school, we still found time to meet each other even though we were both tired.. (: But seeing each other just makes all these tired-ness go away!

Anyway, we had dinner at Astons, near our house! :D
Dinner was very simple and fast, and I forgot to take photos, cause we were both hungry, so when the food was served, we just started eating. HAHAHA.

Yupp, after that went back to baby's house and used the computer. Baby bought 'something' for me! Shall not reveal it yet, you'll know in due time. hehe.

Well, I thought of blogging about this new topic which I just thought of - 'My New Cravings'
It's like sharing with you guys any food which I tried and I liked it! Isn't it great? Then when you guys feel like eating something but dunno-what-to-eat, I hope this new category on my blog helps! :D

I will post an entry on any kind of food, or drink or desserts that I tasted/bought, say maybe once a week? Or worst come to worst, once in two weeks. Well, it depends on whether I've tried any new & new foods in the week!

During my lunch break in school today, I went to the school's bookstore to get something with my friend. And I felt like having something sweet, so I bought this!

And I love it!!! :D
It's not too sweet like those normal white chocolates, and there's raisin inside!
And you won't get tired of it, instead, you'll crave for more!

I shared some with my classmates and they said it's nice too!

It's already the 2nd week of school.

Well, class has been okay luh.. Not exactly good nor bad, but okay. Classmates are fine, although I haven really talked to everyone in the class. And also have been working on FYP. Just started a few days ago, but hopefully will be able to complete everything on time.

I find that my life is very boring now. HAHA. Cause everyday is just nothing but school, and then work on the weekends. Like no time to go out and enjoy myself. So I'm waiting for the holidays in May/June. Cause, my birthday! :D LOL.

It's already been three days of school since last Thursday.
As usual, school is just the same.

FYP!

FYP meetings commences today, with my teammates, and with my project advisor on Wednesday. Who likes to do projects, because they are so boring? But we still need to do it because we need to graduate. haha.

Anyway, my facilitator shared this video with us in class today. Everyone's like typing and doing their own things, cause class is so dry and theoretical.

This post shall be on the mini gathering with my Year 1 Sem 2 classmates (W16B)

Met Hazel earlier to get birthday presents. We had to get 3 gifts in total - 1 for tony, 1 for CJ, 1 for clara! After that we went to meet them, and headed to Loving Hut for dinner (:

Met them at Somerset MRT, then we went to have lunch at Ngee Ann City. Had KFC. Wanted to have lunch at Breeks initially, but we could not find it! Don't know if it has shifted or what, but it's on the directory!

Okay anyway, after lunch, we wanted to watch a movie.
Was deciding between Cop Out and How to Train Your Dragon! We could not decide, so we flipped a coin! HAHA.

The final verdict: How to Train your Dragon (:
It's a nice show!!!! Touching and funny. HAHA. The dragon is so cute!
Definitely worth even cent of my money.

1 Year 1 Month Celebration

Here to update on our 1 Year 1 Month celebration!

Last Friday was Good Friday, so we had our belated celebration.
Went to town, caught a movie, went shopping too (:

It was public holiday, so there was alot of people in town that day. Even when queuing to buy movie tickets, the queue was so long! But we still managed to get tickets.

We watched Ju-On: Black Ghost and White Ghost.
It was okay luh.. Not that bad. Not as scary as I thought. HAHA.
There were 2 parts in the movie, and after the 1st part finished, there were credits, many people left because they thought the show ended alr, but there was still 2nd part!

So, if you are watching this movie, stay put, don't go anywhere after the credits are shown after the 1st part!

I was busy with tuition, baby is busy with his university assignments..

Because baby has started his full-time job, while I think I will be damn busy with FYP once school starts.. Well, kinda sad and disappointed, but never mind, previously we didn't miss a month, so now maybe we can only celebrate once-in-few-months so maybe it becomes more meaningful and significant for us? :D

Anyway, meeting Poly mates this Tuesday (my off day!).

Havent blogged for quite some time, again. hahaha. Was busy with work!

School's reopening soon! March is ending soon, now it's already the 18th of March. About another 4 1/2 weeks before school reopens again. When school reopens, i think i am gonna be very busy with projects and, my maths which i am gonna retake.

Currently, it's work that's helping me pass my time. Or else, I would not know what to do during holidays!

Anyway, today Universal Studios Singapore has opened! (:
But tickets are mostly sold out for the first week -.-

Shall wait till my next holiday before going to check it out! I hope it's fun!

A Day at Sentosa

Hi hunnybuns!
Spent a day at Sentosa with baby last Wednesday, so will be blogging about it now!

Met early in the morning at around 8am. Then took bus to Harbourfront Bus Interchange. Had lunch first at Fig and Olive.

Here's what we had..

After that, proceeded to take the Sentosa Express to Sentosa Island!
Now, we can use our Ezlink Cards to enter, each entry is $3.
We do not need to get tickets, so convenient!

Upon reaching Sentosa, we headed to Imbiah Lookout to go to CineBlast by bus.

So made use of the pair of tickets and we played the Shooting Game!

The game was only 8 mins, but nevermind since it was free. LOL.
There was a scoreboard that showed the Top 3 shooters, baby was 1st! So li hai! (:

After that, we went to Siloso Beach because we didn't have much time left, and we did not really wanna spend so much money. We plan to go Sentosa once Universal Studios is ready, for now, Sentosa does not really have much attractions cause we went there so many times last time.

Anyways, played in the water and took photos, so fun (:

It's been a while since I have updated my blog huh!

Well, nothing much has been going on, every day it's just work and work and work. HAHAHA.
Anyway, despite that, we still managed to find time to catch a movie last Thursday.
We plan to go out and watch another movie next Thursday!

Watched 'Being Human' last Thursday.
It was hilarious man! There were touching parts too, then when I was watching the touching parts, it became funny again! HAHAHA. Quite a number of twists near the end, but it's quite a nice show!

Oh by the way, I also dyed my hair yesterday!
It was supposed to be brownish, but it looks red, kinda scary, maybe need to wait a few weeks for the colour to become more natural!
& When I washed my hair, the colour started dropping, made me so scared! But I think that's what will happen when you dye your hair right? LOL.

(side track abit - I am trying to Google for pictures for the colour of my hair, but my internet is so laggy, so I think I am gonna forget it)

I know this post is super late, but since today is the last day of CNY, I am gonna do a short post on how I spent my CNY cum Valentine's Day (:

Day 1
Was very short, cause I just came back from cruise in the afternoon. When I reached home, I immediately showered, and changed, and there were already guests who came to my house for visiting. Baby came over in the late afternoon to visit my parents and grandparents.

After that in the evening, I went to his maternal side for dinner, after which going to his uncle's house in Woodlands then back home..

Day 2
Paternal side cousins came over. Then we had lunch, and lou hei (yu sheng). After that we played cards. Baby came over as well, I invited him for lunch. Then we went visiting, with all my cousins. After that headed over to baby's house for dinner.

A few days before Valentine's Day, baby surprised me with gifts again!

One day, he asked me:
"Baby, do you like roses?"
"Yes! Why?"
"You prefer real one or fake one?"
"Real one luh, even though it will die.."
"Ya lor, will die but you girls still like roses so much.."

&He really went to buy roses for me! (:
Feel so loved!
Then he also bought me a dinner clutch, it's very nice, blingbling one! HAHAHA. Will bring it out if we are going for any formal events!

OUR FIRST ANNIVERSARY

HAPPY FIRST ANNIVERSARY TO BABY AND I! [:

We were both very happy and excited for the day where we went out. hahaha.

This was the gift that I gave to baby, spent lots of time finding the words from magazines. lol. But I liked the outcome! PRETTY! (:

forgot to take one shot with the photo frame! nvm la. lol

We had an advanced celebration on the 25th Feb 2010, because we both had work today, 27th Feb 2010!
Went to his house first, and first thing he surprised me with was this cake!
So nice, and yummy (:

hehehehe.

Then he gave me two other surprises,

the piglet was really cute, it's sleeping with me every night!
And the necklace was pretty and shiny. LOL.

He doesn't wanna tell me where he got all these from despite me pestering him! =/

After that we headed out, to Bugis Junction..
Went to get tickets for our movie first, The Wolfman. Then we continued walking around Bugis Junction, and dinner.

Baby's was the pineapple pina colada (dunno correct or wrong spelling): Quite nice, cause got ice-cream!

Mine was the bael fruit drink, which on the menu says its good for digestion. At first I didn't really like the taste cause it tastes really weird, but after drinking a few more sips, it got quite refreshing! (:

Because I dunno what's Bael so being a good RP student, I went to Google it for you guys!

My favorite was the Sesame Prawn Balls with bread. It's very crispy and yummy!

Baby ate the Pineapple Rice, which was nice too, it's quite hard to find nice pineapple rice..

I ate the Beef Noodles, it was super nice! The Beel Balls very huge and tasty, and I loved the soup!

SUPERSTAR VIRGO PART 3 (Final)
Hey people! This will be the last and final post on my cruise trip! (:
At the end of the post, I will be giving my own thoughts about the whole trip as well, but they are my own opinions..

Same as the previous two posts, I will be using photos with captions to make things easier and less wordy for everyone! :D

The last day was really short! So very little photos compared to the previous posts! :(

our breakfast - International buffet

woke up super early! much earlier than the 2nd day cause we had to pack up and prepare for check-out.
Headed for breakfast after we showered and packed our luggage. Had a heavy breakfast, that when I came home, I wasn't even hungry to have lunch!

In the morning we were already on Singapore shores, so I could receive sms-es and make calls. As soon as i got reception, I faster called baby! Didn't see him for 3 days on the cruise!

After breakfast, went back to the cabin to take our luggage.

went to the waiting area at the auditorium. Saw a cute small boy there!

then we were very bored cause they were handing out the passports to everyone.
The crew kept our passports for us, so we didn't have to worry about losing them.

So we went out to the deck to look at the scenery. And took photos..

Home sweet home!

My dad came to fetch us from Singapore Cruise Center. Then headed home, unpacked, and immediately there were visitors to my house so had to entertain them.

Then in the late afternoon, baby came over my house to 拜年, then I accompanied him over to his relative's house to 拜年 too, till late at night. And I was really very tired that day, cause I didn't have enough sleep during the trip..
So he sent me home and I fell asleep immediately..

My thoughts..
Overall, the trip was quite nice. It was quite a good and short getaway from school, work and personal life. On board the ship, we did not have access to our phones out at the open sea, which I think is good as we do not have any distractions.

But then there wasn't really anything much for us to pass time, except food and swimming, probably. Other than these, there isn't really anything much on the cruise actually.. But I enjoyed it, being able to spend time with my family though! (:

SUPERSTAR VIRGO PART 2

Alright, as promised, here's the 2nd part of my cruise trip!
This post will be quite long, because the 2nd day was veryy longggg, as we had one whole day from morning till midnight! (:

Woke up very early, at 7am, showered and prepare for breakfast at Chinese Restaurant again, The Pavilion Room. Dimsum! Yummy! (:

my mum insisted on taking the mandarins cause it was New Year, and they are complimentary -.-

After breakfast, we went exploring again, and we went out to the Assembly station on Deck 7, which was also the lobby. And the morning view was nice, and windy, surrounded by sea waters. Very peaceful and fresh, i like it.

i was the photographer, so no photos of me! :(

After that, went back to our cabin to rest awhile. Then met the rest of my relatives for lunch.
Had Western for lunch this time round. Went to Bella Vista restaurant.

See the setting of the restaurant, very nice hor? Looks very high class right!
But the food not very nice.. =.=

Appetizers first..

My brother's Turkey Salad was quite nice, cause of the meat among those greens.
Mine was the Mozzarella Cheese Salad, I thought it will be nice, but it's not to my liking..
My sister ordered the Carrot and peas soup, and it was very dilute, no offence, but it tastes like those indian soup (in a Western restaurant?!)

Then comes our Main Course..

My sister ordered Chicken Tika - The rice was dry and hard, okay but the chicken was not that bad, not what we expected. We expected like, Chicken Chop or something from the setting of the restaurant! HAHA!

I ordered Fish and Chips - Very normal lor! And the fish got one funny taste one.. But okay luh.. At least its edible and can fill up my tummy.

My brother ordered the Shrimp Omelette - I think his is the nicest lor! But he says it got very dry at the end, then not nice already..

Lastly, desserts! My favourite!
I think the dessert is the nicest compared to the appetizer and main course lor!

My brother ordered the Ice-cream with wafer roll. Very nice lei! Good combination of Coffee and Vanilla ice-cream.

My sister and I ordered the Chocolate Pudding. Very nice, the pudding together with the jam, nice nice! I like!

After that, went to take photos and sight-seeing, haha.

Then we went for a short magic show again, where the magician taught us some magic tricks, but i forgot all le! LOL!

Tried our luck with the lottery! $12.50 per ticket lor! So expensive!
Need at least 3 numbers to win money, 6 numbers and you get the grand prize!
My mum bought 6 sets (each set with 6 numbers) of lottery since it was "buy 5 get 1 free"!

went for tea break after that cause we were getting sleepy.
Oh, it was at the International Buffet restaurant, Mediterranean.

After that my family went to get the photos taken by the Crew at The Gallery. Bought a set of photos we took before embarkation. While walking to the gallery, we passed by a few nice spots and a few shops, so took photos.

After getting the photos, went into the cinema awhile to pass time. Then went back to our cabin to change and prepare for reunion dinner with all my relatives.

There was a long queue at the Chinese Restaurant, so we were given a queue number and a time to go back. So headed to the top level to slack and take photos.

They were all very friendly, we waved to them and they waved back!

Then the time reached and we headed back to the restaurant! 开饭了！
It was a 6 course meal as well, plus Yu Sheng.

After dinner, my sister went to play with my cousins, so my mum, brother and I went to the lobby to take photos again cause we think it's very nice. After that we went to play bingo, and wait for the lottery results at the Galaxy of the Stars (auditorium)!

We won 2 sets of 3 numbers! But winning was very little, haha.

Okay here comes the exciting part!
After the bingo, went back to our cabin, then at about 11.30pm, went to the lobby for the countdown party! At first there wasn't many people, but slowly it became very full!

Superstar Virgo Part 1

SUPERSTAR VIRGO PART 1

Okay, here's the long awaited post on my cruise trip!
I bet many of you know that, I went on a cruise trip with my family on 12th - 14th Feb 2010 (Fri - Sun), it was a 3 day 2 night trip.

It was kinda short I think, cause on the first day when I checked-in, it was already late evening, and the night ended very quickly. On the 2nd day I had one whole day on the cruise, and on the last day it was even shorter as we disembarked the ship in the morning!

So its like, we only had one day to explore and enjoy the activities! Nevertheless, it was quite fun and memorable (:

Anyway, on the day of embarkation, I had my last UT3 in the afternoon, at 4.30pm - 6pm (WTH!), and my dad + family came to school to fetch me to Singapore Cruise Center. Feel so bad for making all of them wait for me to end! :(

Went to the Chinese restaurant: The Pavilion Room for dinner .
It was a 6-course meal.

After dinner, we went up to the highest deck to look at the scenery, and boy, it was beautiful!
Saw the ship sail off as well at 9pm, and i faster sms baby to say goodbye!

Had supper after that, and went back to our cabin and slept!

CHINESE NEW YEAR AND VALENTINES DAY ARE COMING! (:
Very rare that these two special occasions can be on the same day! So exciting! (:
This is my first year celebrating Valentines with baby too!

Anyways, had no UT on Monday. So headed back to school to upgrade and format my laptop with baby. For those who followed my Twitter should know, cause I update it regularly, so follow me if you haven't done so!

After sending our laptops to the IT help desk, we went to have our lunch. And we realised that we haven tried the food in the new cafe in the library! Because the food smelt so nice and appealing, we had our lunch there!

It's called THE REEL ROOM! (:
We had to look at the menu, decide what to eat, and fill up a the order form with the code and quantity, and order it at the counter! SIMPLE!

My drink: Root Beer Float with vanilla ice cream

Baby's: Coke Float with strawberry ice cream

very worth it for such a big cup! $2.90 only!
Other cafes/restaurants sells much more expensive for a smaller cup lor!

HERE COMES THE FOOD!

Baby's Black Pepper Beef Baked Rice for $6.50!
I like it, it tastes really good with alot of sauce so it isn't dry! (:

My Macaroni Carbonara at $4.90 only!
You can choose linguine too if you don't want macaroni. It's nice and creamy, i like! (:

Baby and I were saying that the food were really worth the price, considering that it's a cafe.
And the food was nice too! (:
We said that someday we can bring our friends/families there to eat!

After a fulfilling lunch, went to CWP to get my CNY clothes!
Spent quite alot on clothes! 3/4 of my pay goneeee! :(
But nvm luh, CNY coming, got angbao! HAHA!

bought 1 dress, 3 tops, and 1 pants (not in the photo) for CNY!
All of them are chosen by baby! LOL!

And this bag which I ordered online arrived on the same day when I got home!
I LOVE IT! (:

Because there wasn't enough time for me to get shoes (cause we received an sms to go back to RP to collect our laptops), I went to CWP again the next day looking for shoes!

And I bought 2 pairs!
Really lovely, and cheap (got 20% discount)! (: HEHE.

and this was because I wanted something simple, love the flower prints!

Tomorrow is my last UT, and after that I need to rush all the way down to Singapore Cruise Center to check-in for cruise! Luckily my dad's fetching me, or else surely will be very expensive to cab there, cause my UT finishes at 6pm, there's peak hour charges + ERP!

I will depart on 12th Feb evening and will be back in Singapore on 14th in the afternoon!
It's a short 3 day 2 night cruise over the weekends! Just in time for CNY!

Many people have asked me what is there to do on cruise? I answered, I also dunno, so I googled for some photos online..

Hi ! (:
This is Week 16, which means its UT3 week!
Hence, no lessons for this week, only tests.
There is no UT for me today, so I went to school with baby to format + upgrade our laptop to Windows 7! :D
Hehe, very happy de lei.

Then after that went to get my CNY clothes! Bought 1 dress + 3 tops! =/ Still not done with shopping yet, tomorrow I am still gonna get bottoms and shoes to go along with it! Once a year only lei, its the time of the year where most people splurge to get their CNY clothes, goodies, etc etc.

Anyways, since last week was the last week of classes, took photos with my classmates. Not all though, cause some were not in class or I forgot to take with them.

Back to update again after a week! LOL!

Planned to blog the past few days but was busy with trying to backup my laptop and it failed! :(

After dinner, went walk walk around FEP, then back to Shaw to wait for the show to start..

HELLO PEOPLE! [:
Today was Friday, and we celebrated one of my classmates, Shi Lei's advanced birthday in school and took alot of photos! Which explains why I am updating! :D

Took alot of photos with my classmates, realised that this is quite the first time that we are taking photos. This semester, did not really take photos with my classmates, and the school semester is already coming to an end!! $%%^&%^$@

Next week is the last week of school, followed by UT3's on the following week, and it will be the end of my 2nd year in RP! Time flies, come next year, I will need to complete 2 Final Year Projects! Just the thought of it makes me feel stressed! =/

Today is baby's birthday!

But we are doing a belated celebration on Saturday instead because he has a test tomorrow!
So poor thing, having a test on his birthday :(

Some updates on my boring daily life..
Havent really been updating because everyday its just school!
Oh, did i mention that my tuition classes for Maths have already started? BOO! But its okay, I hope I can cope well and really really pass my maths this time round, don't wanna go through it another time, so this shall be the last time!

& have been busy choosing my FYP topics as well. But have finally made 6 choices and submitted them. Hoepfully we'll get those that we have chosen! Have also been meddling with Tumblr and reblogging other people's quotes/pictures which are super nice (:

Anyways, on a side note, its another 2 more weeks of lessons and 1 week of UT3 before we go on a long long holiday! CANT WAIT LUH SERIOUSLY!

YAY! MY FIRST PROPER POST FOR 2010!
Yesterday was the last paper for UT2!
After UT, baby and I headed for our dinner over at Seoul Garden.

He promised he will bring me there for dinner someday cause I told him i wanted to go there. LOL. So he brought me there yesterday (:

Resolutions

Hello! [:
I've been contemplating if I should post this up. But after many rounds of thinking, I've still decided to post it up. Because many things happened in 2009, I think I wanna list down all my resolutions for this year so that I will be able to achieve more things!

I know it's kinda late, cause 9 days have already passed since 2010. But, better late than never right? ;P

So, here goes - I'll just be posting whatever comes to my mind, and edit this post whenever I think of anymore, and I will be striking off those I have achieved as I when! Which means, this post will always be changing/updated! :D

Nellyn's Resolutions for 2010:
Stop spending money un-necessarily
Learn to save up more!
Spend more time with family
Do not trust people so easily
Always think before saying or doing anything
Study hard for Maths (re-take) so that I can graduate!

It's back to school!

I think everyone is still in the holiday mood, which explains why the past two days in school were very weird? In class, everyone were like very quiet and not talking alot, same for me, haha. But I still did work luh :D

Hopefully this gets better next week (:

Anyway, I've bought & gotten my contact lenses already! *inserts grin*
I used to wear them but because of some discomfort in my eyes, I stopped wearing them. Then I went to an optician and she told me there were bumps under my eyelids. So for the next few months I did not wear contacts, wore my specs for lessons and work. Now, after so many months, I went to check my eyes and she said though it's not fully recovered yet, but I can still wear, but because I need to wear for long hours so I changed to another brand!

Wow, I didn't realise the above paragraph was so long till I finished typing it. HAHA.
Anyway, UT's on Friday!
Need to downoad 6Ps and study for it tomorrow!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!
How time flies, another year has gone!

2009's been great for me overall. Lots of ups and downs, there are stuff worth remembering and stuffs to be learnt from as well. But anyhow, it was in 2009 where i fell in and out of love.

And it was in Feb 2009 that I met baby! We met as pure colleagues where we didn't talk much, then slowly we went for supper together sometimes after work, when we became closer we realized that we were in the same school. Then we started going out to shopping centers to walk and talk, and that's how it all started out :D
GEE GEE.

From 1 month to 6 months..

& to 10 months which just passed (:

There were stuff which I choose not to think about too, like before I met baby. Being together with someone else who does not know how to cherish and treasure the relationship, it didn't last of course.

Then also meeting new people, making new friends in 2009. Started my own blogshop which didn't turn out well (i am still trying to clear the stocks till today). That's about it.

So now it's a brand new year in 2010!
And I hope that it will be filled with lots of happiness and I will be able to meet people that I can trust and confide in!

So, on the first day of 2010, went to my cousin's chalet over at Downtown East with my family. He checked in at around 2.30pm then we unpacked and stuff, then went to get groceries. After that went swimming with my dad and sister while the others stayed in the room to prepare dinner.

Then came back and had BBQ! (:

After dinner, we wanted to go bowling, but there were 37 people on the waiting list! So we didn't bowl. Instead, we went to Coffee Bean!

10 Month-sary!

We went to 313@Somerset and Orchard Central, just to walk around. At 313, we did not take photos cause there were people everywhere. So when we went to Orchard Central, there was a rooftop garden and the scenery was quite nice so we managed to take some photos (:

MERRY BELATED XMAS 2009!
This post shall be on the Christmas chalet with baby (:
It was a 3D2N trip. Checked in on 23rd Dec and Checkout on 25th Dec.

Shall go in sequence from Day 1.
Woke up very early to finish packing up my luggage. Then went over to baby's place at 11am.
He did what he was supposed to do, then we cooked Tang Yuan - Glutinous Rice Balls.

Peanut and Red Bean flavoured (:

During evening time, around 5-6pm, we set off from baby's place to Downtown East.
Reached at around 8pm, just in time cause check-in time was from 4-8pm!

Here's our room number! HAHAHAH. can go buy 4D alr.

We put down all our things, then went to do grocery shopping at e!Hub.

when we just started shopping.. the trolley was not full yet!

Total damage: $77!

Below are all the items we bought..

Then the rain stopped around the afternoon. So we had lunch and went bowling! After that came back, watch dvd while resting. Then cooked dinner!

Because it was Christmas Eve, we had such a feast! Look below!

We managed to finish it, but we couldn't finish the steamboat! Cause we were very full!

After that we took a warm shower, then rested while watching tv, then at 12midnight we exchanged gifts!!!!! (:

Here's what i received from baby: A perfume set! The scent is nice, i love it!

After that we were both tired so we decided to sleep early cause we needed to wake up earlier to pack up the room and our luggage.

Day 3
No photos taken on Day 3 cause we were busy packing :(

Checked-out at 12pm. Headed over to baby's place where I stayed over till Today morning =X
At his place, watched dvds, cooked our own dinner, watched tv, slacked, cuddled. LOL.

And went to the two new shopping centres in town, 313@Somerset and Orchard Central for our 10 month-sary celebration yesterday (: Will do a post on it tomorrow!

My parents and my sister went on holiday from 26th - 29th Dec.
Mummy gave me my xmas present before i went for chalet cause we won't see each other when i'm back. I opened it this morning!

It was a pair of shoes!
Nice, i can wear it to school or for going out! (:

Tomorrow I will be leaving for chalet with baby.
Will be back on Sunday.

Meanwhile, I went to collect my Christmas gift for baby earlier.
Its a personalized keychain for him, and a pendant for me.

I did a keychain so he can hang it with his keys or on his bag.
And a pendant for myself so i can wear it as a necklace (:

I spent super long making it, goggling for pictures and drawing all the Christmas-y things on it.

HEY PEOPLE! [:
Christmas is arriving soon!

I went to town with my bro, his gf and baby after work last week to get gifts for my parents.
Cause they bought Xmas gifts for us! HAHAHA =D

Went to Takashimaya and searched for presents for them.
In the end, we gave my Dad a watch that baby and I got last time and bought a Pierre Cardin Wallet Set for my Mum.

Hopefully they like it!
Last year, my bro and i bought my mum a Bonia bag for Xmas + her birthday and she rarely used it. So we bought her a wallet this year, hopefully she will use it.

Oh, and we bought a HUGE HUGE card for them too! And we think its very very worth it!

And its cheap! Compared to those Hallmark cards - They so expensive, and they are so small!

ITS THE HOLIDAYS! :D
Yes, yesterday was the last day of school and it was quite fun, we went to visit the lab! (:
We were released super early for break, much earlier than the usual time. And we finished work early, so we had time to watch movie in class. HAHAHA. Not the whole show though, just part of it. But, better than nothing right.

Lesson also ended very early, 3plus!
HAPPY LEI.
So today is the first day of holidays and i was working. Went to the bank in the morning to get my ATM card replaced, then went for work in the afternoon.

Can't wait for next week! Cause there's chalet, sleepover, Christmas outing. Blahblah! Gonna be fun! :D

The reason why I am blogging is because i am bored and to vent some frustrations.

Today, I stayed at home watching videos.. Went to Causeway Point for a walk in the afternoon.. But didn't get what I wanted to buy cause none of them caught my eye.. Didn't meet baby today cause he had work, then he was at home doing his work..

You know, sometimes the people who you trust most really are the ones who will really hurt you the most.
I thought that I could trust you, I treated you as my best friend. Yet you chose to disappoint me. Sometimes I really miss those times where I can have a heart-to-heart talk with or someone who can go shopping with me. I feel that I have a really boring life. Like, everyday is just school, then weekends are just work. I realized I have not really gone out shopping for a long long time already.

Even in school now, I do not even know if the people i meet will back stab me any moment, or will those friendships last? Or will they be those 'hi-bye' friends where we see every day?

Why can't i just have a friend who i am able to share my feelings with? Where have all my friends gone?! Can't i just have someone to gossip with and go shopping with?! I feel lonely.. :(

Right, speaking of school...
Holidays are coming, its just next Tuesday!

I will be working, but I took some days off cause I am going to chalet with baby as we planned, to celebrate Christmas together! Then the remaining off days were taken cause i was 'supposedly' going on a trip with my family, but something cropped up and i couldn't go. So they (my parents and sister) will be going off without me and my brother!

And and! I changed my blogskin! Hehe. I just saw this skin and I liked it, simple and I don't have to do banners anymore! :D
And I added new songs to my playlist as well!

Hello! (:
My lesson just ended for the day. Its kinda easy, but i think i screwed i up with the layout (but i did it alone okay!) oh wells. Its over now, forget it.

Anyways, its Christmas season almost everywhere! Every shop you step into, nearly all are playing Christmas songs, and Christmas decorations are up.. Seriously can feel the Christmas mood alr!

So here are some things that i feel like doing, if i can afford them and have the time to..

1. Do my nails!
Saw alot of people having pretty pretty nails and i feel like having them! It has been so long since i went for a manicure, i think i only went once! :(

2. Buy a dress!
Its Christmas! I should buy a pretty dress to celebrate this day with my loved ones.

3. Prepare pressies
For baby, my friends, and family.. (: People love receiving presents, no?

4. Put up a Christmas tree at home
Well i do that every year!

HELLO HONEY BUNNIES [:
Okay i dont know why i started with that but ohwells. Dont care! LOL.

Recently, i have been looking for tuiton centres and have been calling them up regarding course fees and intake cause i will be retaking the New Syllabus Maths next year. BOO HOO :( Kinda sad, but then i shall practice hard and pass it to graduate from RP!

AND AND ITS DECEMBER!
Which means Christmas is coming! YAY!
If you know me well, i love Christmas, cause its a day where people exchange pressies, and its a happy occassion! Hehe, i think i am in the Christmas mood alr!

I just finished my PP presentation and I think i did quite okay! The comments i received were not too bad. WOOHOO! Finally its over, but there are still UT 2 and UT3. But they are not so soon, so its fine.

I specially took a day off from work for presentation today cause the timing was neither here, nor there. Also good, can rest at home after a week of school.

One more week of lessons and then its school holidays!
SUPER HAPPY CAN!
School for 10 weeks straight is draining away all my energy! ><

YOYOYOYO! (:

On Saturday, went to Akira Japanese Restaurant with my family and relatives. My long distance relatives came from Malaysia and stayed over in our house, they are leaving this Thursday. Yup, so went to have lunch with them.

After lunch, headed over to Northpoint with my bro, sister and mum and did a little bit of shopping. My mum bought us all some clothes from Cotton On!
HAPPY! :D

Headed home after that cause my mum was meeting my aunt for spa, and i had work in the evening. But it was a fruitful outing!

9th months!

Hello! (:
Yesterday was a Public Holiday + our 9 month-sary!

So went out with baby yesterday for a whole day. We went to Sitex 2009 first. It was super crowded lor! Even on the train, packed like sardines! When we reached Expo, there were people everywhere. It was totally filled with people, we did not get anything, we just walked and looked. When we wanted to walk to the MRT station to go to Tampines, it was jam packed!

It took us very long to come out from the crowd lor! Instead of traffic jam, there was human jam. Got squeezed and hit by people. Wah it was damn chaotic. Oh wells, typical Singaporeans, i guess?

Anyways, headed to Tampines One and Tampines Mall after that. Because baby and i already bought our movie tickets online the day before, we did not have to worry about not getting tickets.

We walked around Tampines One. Then proceeded to Tampines Mall. Had our dinner at Central. Not bad luh, but i prefer Xin Wang. HAHA.

Today is Sunday! (:
So fast, the weekends are coming to an end alr! OH MY GOSH!
Anyways, woke up at my usual timing at 10am+ in the morning. Feels so good to be able to sleep in, cause I wont be able to do it on weekdays when there's school. =/

Went to meet Chloe to pass her her belated birthday present at Woodlands station. Then went to print wallet-sized photos for baby and i so that we can place them our wallets (:
Have been wanting to print them for very long already, but i was always lazy to print them.

So, finally i got them printed out, and they are nicely settled in my wallet now :D

Hello! (:

The weekends are finally here again. Today was a really 'great' day for me. When i came home for lunch, the sky was clear and sunny. Then after i finished eating and on my way back to work, they sky turned dark, when i got out of the lift and started walking to work, there was a slight drizzle, so i walked faster and the rain got heavier. So i ran home to grab an umbrella. Then I walked back to work, but i was still drenched totally :(

Then when i got back to my workplace, my colleague asked me to pass her something, then i dropped the whole cash box and all the money dropped out, all the coins dropped to the ground. Luckily my colleague helped me pick up all the coins from the ground and the dustbin =.= But lucky for me, i did not have to pay as well, cause the shortage wasnt alot..

Anyways, some updates on my life...
- UT1 are all overrrr! YAY!
- PP poster presentation is coming soon, on thr 5th December. (Wish me luck k! :D)
- This coming Friday (27th Nov) will be our 9 month-sary, and its a public holiday.
SO LOOKING FORWARD TO IT!

I shared this video on Facebook earlier, its one song that baby and i always sing together, but we always sing the wrong lyrics. So i searched for the MV on Youtube, got lyrics some more, wont sing wrong le! HAHAHAHA.

And another song which i heard Sylvia sing on Singapore Idol, its nice! (:

Christmas Season is nearing! YAY!
One thing that that I always look forward to every year is Christmas. Its one season which I like cause we can exchange presents and have lots of good food and all, i mean, who doesn't like receiving presents from others?

But as we grow older, presents do not really mean alot anymore. Not everyone will exchange gifts as much as when we were younger. But its okay, its a time where friends and families can meet too! :D

When I went to Central with baby last week, we saw a Christmas tree, so we went over to take photos. It's pretty! hehe.
